SCENARIO: BLACK HAWK DOWN

EXPECTED #: 30 PLAYERS.

ADMISSION:  FREE - NO INSURANCE FEE - THE FEE IS WAIVED.

ALLOWED: SEMI  firing modes/grenades.

CHRONO: 300 FPS

* HIT RULES: If you, your gun/equipment get hit and the ball breaks you are out.

Minimum age to participate is 10 years old but must be accompanied by an adult.
Anyone under the age of 18 must have their waiver signed by a parent or guardian.

PAINT PRICES:  STARTING AT $25.00 A 1/2 CASE , $50.00 A CASE  FIELD PAINT ONLY
CO2 and AIR: $10.00 - ALL DAY AIR/CO2.

We're excited to host the EPZ crew for the second year out at Pentagon. Those of you who showed up last year were very proffesional and well mannered. A pleasure to play with you all.

For this game do we have to pay the 15.00 and get the waiver form from Pentagon or since it is an EPZ event we are ok plan on making this one just need to know what I need when I show up.

Sean the owner has AGAIN waved the $15.00 insurance fee for this specific event. Make sure everyone thanks him on gameday!
Everyone will have to sign the Pentagon Paintball waiver form inside the Pro shop.

I have received an email via Rick/Sean concerning the EPZ/HOF joint venture game at Pentagon on this gamedate.

["Last year we had a BYOP type event because we didn't want to deter the EPZ folks from coming out. But due to some bad situations at another field where some paint related injurys were rampant, we are sticking with the Field Paint Only rule.
I REPLIED THAT WE TOO HAVE BANNED MONSTER BALLS ON OUR FIELDS DUE TO THEIR ABUSIVE NATURE.

But fret not, Sean wants you to come play paintball, so he's allowed us to set some decent prices for this game. You can't play backyard ball much cheaper than this:

$35 for Entry, All Day Air, and Half Case of Paint.
$60 for Entry, All Day Air, and Full Case of Paint.
 
Normally it would cost a first time player there $15 for ins, $10 for ADA, and about $50 for a case of paint.
 
If any of this is dissagreeable to you, lemme know, and we'll try and work something out.
I AGREE WE AS MEMBERS OF THE EPZ SHOULD RESPECT ANOTHER FIELD AND SUPPORT THEM BY PURCHASING THEIR SUPPLIES.
IF THESE PRICES DETER ANYONE - PLEASE JUST SAVE A FEW EXTRA DOLLARS THROUGHOUT THE WEEKS !  REMEMBER SEAN IS WAIVING THE INSURANCE FEE OF $15.00 PER PERSON & HAS REDUCED THE PAINT PRICES/AIR.
 
We have a team or two coming out from the Cleveland area as well, so this allows some time for them to get in and ready. We're planning on running a Black Hawk Down type scenario for this event. Sloppy Joe and Drumstick (Rob Wingfield, don;t believe you've met them yet) are putting together a nice set of plans for this and I think it's going to be fun to play. We're going to have at least one "NPC" who's going to be following a loose script in order to make the game more fun.

If you want, I can talk to Sean about getting to the field earlier at 8am, as long as Gimly and I are there to make sure people are staying safe on his property. I talked to Sean about the start time. I realize that this game is a little later than your usual games, but we had to make some compromises. The field will be open at 9am, and the game will start at 10am. We will be running till about 2pm. If you don't think this will go over well with your guys, then we'll try to work something out where Dan and I get there earlier to supervise until his crew shows up. It's not that Sean doesn't trust you guys. One the contrary, he was real impressed with the way the EPZ guys handled themselves last year." ]
I WAS TOLD BY RICK & SEAN LAST SEASON THAT THEY WERE IMPRESSED WITH OUR SAFETY STANDARDS EVEN THOUGH WE ARE NOT A COMMERCIAL ORGANIZATION.

I truely need some input on these proposed conditions. I need Team Leaders to both inform & get responses from their members.

10 AM start works for me; will give those who are traveling an hour or more not have to get up around 5AM.  Pricing seems reasonable... with all day air, you can refill after being all done so you're ready for the next time you play.

good point - you can refill your tanks after the game & already be prepared for the next gameday!

Personally, I'd like to play that newer back field (urban one---flag/bridge in the middle)  as much as possible.  We get to play in the woods all the time, and it was something different.  So whatever goes on this day I am hoping that back field gets utilized as much as possible. 

Considering the props we get, the setup, refs, etc paying a little more that day is worth it.  And we support our local shop in the process.

Any idea how many Cleveland people are coming?  Enough that EPZ might be able to play as one team together?  Hope so.

Just to clarify -
All day air can include filling up your tanks before we leave? Or not? Please clarify so we have the correct information.

I cannot speak for Sean but other places I have played do that. It is usually a bonus for those that pay for all day air, but I could be wrong.

We usually fill up at the end of the day after events, I don't think this one will be any different.

We have limited reply from the Cleveland ballers, a good chunk of them are headed up to Monster Game this weekend. But if we have the turnout, we'll try and group the EPZ crew together.

The plan is to use the entire field for this event, so we're hoping that the back half will be put to good use by the games design.

Hey Rick, what wil the cost of rentals be for this one, in case any nebees are interested.
I'm putting a blanket email out to the EPD today to see if we can't get a few boys in blue to come out and play. Any discounts for someone with a badge as a little incentive?

All Day Air means, All Day during the event.
EPZ/HOF events get that fill after the fact because Larry's the best darn UPS Guy and Rick G is so good looking......
